Museum of Illusions New Delhi is an interactive museum which offers a unique experience to its visitors to explore and engage with various optical illusions and exciting exhibits. It features more than 50 exhibits which will challenge your senses and perception of Reality. Visitors can explore rooms which will appear to be slanted, upside down or even floating in mid-air. They can also see their reflections in various ways including shrinking or stretching their bodies or appearing as a ghostly image. 

One of the Exhibits of the Museum is the Ames Room, it creates an optical illusion which makes people appear to change in size as they change places in the room. Visitors can also explore the Infinity Room, which creates the illusion of an endless hallway and the Vortex Tunnel, which uses rotating lights and mirrors to create a Disorienting effect. The Museum of Illusions also offers various activities and games that are designed to challenge the mind and create a fun and interactive experience. Visitors can solve Puzzles, Play games and take part in other activities that are designed to challenge one’s perception and Cognitive Skills.

  • Ames Room: The Ames Room is Specially designed room that creates an Illusion that makes people appear to change in size as they move around the room. One side of the room is higher than other as the walls and floors are angled in a way that makes people and objects appear distorted.
  • Anti-Gravity Room: In this room, Visitors can stand on the walls and ceilings which creates the Illusion of Anti Gravity. The room is designed to trick your brain into perceiving the floor as the ceiling and vice versa.
