The National Park houses a Butterfly Park established in 2006 by the Zoo Authority of Karnataka, University of Agricultural Sciences and the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment. I

t covers 7.5 acres of land and features 20 different butterfly species. The park is covered by a polycarbonate roof to create a tropical and humid environment artificially.
