About Kingdom Of Dreams Gurgaon
The Kingdom of Dreams Gurgaon or KOD is a spectacular entertainment and leisure destination located in Gurgaon. KOD in Gurgaon is Spread in over an area of 6 acres. It is organised and run by Great Indian Nautanki Company (GINC). It offers many options for people of all ages. The park has everything, from theatrical shows and cultural activities to Yummy food and retail therapy.
As you enter inside Kingdom of Dreams, you’ll transferred into a different world. KOD has two world class theatres and hosts wide range of carnivals, musical performances and theaterical shows, ensuring hours of enjoyment and entertainment. It presents renowned musicial and theater performances including “Jhumroo” and “Zangura”, which holds the distinction of being the largest bollywood musical production till date. Additionaly, the Culture Gully offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the cultures, lifestyles, traditons and cuisines of 14 different Indian States in one place.
Kingdom of Dreams Gurgaon was closed on July 2022 by the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVK) due to an unresolved disagreement regarding the outstanding lease payments for the property.
History Of Kingdom Of Dreams Gurgaon
Kingdom of Dreams was Inaugaurted on 29 january 2010 by Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda along with famous personalities like Javed Akhtar, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. It is a collaborative project between Wizcraft International Entertainment and Apra Group, forming the Great Indian Nautanki Company. KIngdom of Dream is often compared to New York City’s Broadway due to its blend of Indian Culture and Modern Entertainment.
The Culture Gully section of KOD was opened on 30 July 2010 and witnessed the presentaion of the official song of the 2010 commonwealth Game, “Jiyo Utho Bado Jeeto.” The Culture Gully opened to the Public on 18 September 2010 and Actor Shah Rukh Khan was announced its Global Ambassador. Despite the Success of KOD, financial difficulties arose which leads to investigation and legal disputes over non-payment. The Covid-19 Pandemic further impacted the complex, resulting in the termination of the lease in July 2022.

It is a popular live musical performance which held at Nautanki Mahal.
