Bhangarh Fort, also known as Bhangarh Qila is situated among Aravalli Range in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. The fort was constructed in the 16th century during the rule of Bhagwant Das. It was built as the residence for his second son, Madho Singh, who was the younger brother of Man Singh, a general under Mughal Emperor Akbar. Safdarjung Tomb Delhi is a beautiful tomb made of marble and sandstone. It was built for Nawab Safdarjung, who was an important leader in the mughal empire. The tomb was built by his son, Nawab Shujaud Daula in 1754. It was the last tomb showcasing the style of Mughal architecture with gardens.

The Fort was previously named ‘Sudarshangarh’ but later it became known as Nahargarh, meaning ‘abode of tigers’. It is said that the spirit of a Rathore ruler, Nahar Singh Bhomia hindered its construction until a temple for him was built inside the fort.
The City Palace Jaipur is one of the most famous tourist attractions situated in the old part of Jaipur. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II from 1729 to 1732. The Palace has different parts like courtyards, buildings and gardens including the Chandra Mahal and the Mubarak Mahal. Other parts of the Palace include Mukut Mahal, Maharani’s Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple, Diwan-i-Am and Diwan-i-Khas. There’s also a museum called Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Which displays special handcrafted items and holds a collection of royal items from the past raja-maharajas.
Birla Mandir Jaipur is located on the foothills of Moti Dungri fort in Jaipur. The temple is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple as it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. This temple is one of many Birla temples across the country, built by B.M. Birla Foundation. They are collectively known as Birla Mandir. The construction of this temple began in 1988, after the Maharaja of Jaipur gave the land for the token amount of one rupee.
Jantar Mantar Jaipur is an astronomical observatory situated near City Palace and Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. It was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who was a keen astronomer and wanted to create an accurate astronomical observatory. Jantar Mantar means “instruments used to calculate”.
Jaipur Zoo spread over an area of 35 acres, is India’s most popular zoo. It is located in Ram Niwas Garden near Albert Hall Museum of Jaipur. It was founded in 1877 and is one of India’s oldest zoo’s. It was built with an intention to preserve and conserve wildlife including mammals, birds and reptiles. It is home to the richest fauna of Rajasthan and has around 550 animals and birds of more than 50 different species.
