About ISKCON Temple Noida
ISKCON Temple Noida is a Hindu and Vaishnava Temple located in Agrasen Marg, Noida Sec-33, dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radharani. The Temple was Inaugurated on 5 April 1998 by then Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is maintained by ISKCON organisation. It is one of the famous temple for Lord Krishna. The Difference between this ISKCON temple and other’s is that this temple has a giant Statue of Lord Krishna sharing the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna before the great Mahabharata war. This seven Storey temple is built on small land and is 160 metres in Height.
The ISKCON Temple Noida is also used for various purposes than worshipping. It can be booked for marriage and Birthday ceremonies and has a Guest Room and an Auditorium. The temple holds six Aarti’s everyday for Deities which are Mangala Aarti, Raj Bhoga Aarti, Usthapana Aarti, Dhoop Aarti, Sayana Aarti and Sandhya Aarti. The temple also serves free meal to everyone who wants to eat the Bhoog.
Architecture Of ISKCON Temple Noida
The ISKCON Temple Noida is Built on a small plot of Land, So they decided to construct it upwards with seven storeys and a height of 160 feet. It was done to accommodate all the necessary elements of a temple. The temple has a large hall, an Auditorium, a Guest house, a restaurant, a space for weddings and birthdays, an educational halls, a kitchen and a residential wing with bedrooms. There is also Shops, Offices and Halls that are ready to use.
The temple’s unique Design features a combination of traditional Indian and modern architectural elements. The main entrance is adorned with intricate carvings and sculpture of Various Hindu deities. The interior of the temple is designed to create a peaceful atmosphere for worship. The temple has a high Ceilings which is decorated with ornate chandeliers, intricate carvings and colourful paintings. The walls was adorned with Lord Krishna and other Hindu Deities.
One of the most impressive feature of the temple is the main shrine, which houses the deities of Radha and Krishna. It is made of white marbles and decorated with intricate carvings and gold plating. The deities are dressed in colourful clothes and adorned with jewellery.
