Hawa Mahal Jaipur, also known as Palace of winds is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Jaipur. This five-storey Palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 as he was inspired by the unique structure of Khetri Mahal. The Hawa Mahal was designed by Lal Chand Ustad and it is built with the use of red and pink sandstone on the edge of the City Palace and extends till Zenana or women’s chambers.Â
