Jantar Mantar is one of the best historical places situated near Connaught Palace, Delhi. Jantar Mantar was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur in 1724. The purpose of Jantar was to accumulate astronomical tables which would help in predicting the movement of celestial bodies. There are 13 astronomical instruments in Jantar Mantar, the entire structure is made of Stone and Marble. This is a great place for astronomy lovers.

Gurudwara Shri Bangla Sahib is the most prominent Sikh Gurudwara in Delhi. Earlier the Gurudwara was a Bungalow of Raja Jai Singh of Amer and later turned into Gurudwara to commemorate the revered Guru Har Krishan. This Golden Domed gurudwara is visited by people of various race, religion and nationalities. It comprises of the main Gurudwara, The Sarovar, A Langar Hall, Art Gallery, school and a hospital. You can also eat Langar and sit besides the Sarovar and absorb the positive vibes.

India Gate is a 42m high war memorial located near Rajpath to commemorate the 90,000 Indian Soldiers who lost their lives fighting for British Indian Army in World War I. It also has names of 13,516 Indian and British soldiers who lost their lives during the Afghan war of 1919. The very important part of India Gate is Amar Jawan Jyoti which was built to pay tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in Indo-Pakistan war of December 1971.

Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu temple situated in New Delhi. The temple is dedicated to Swaminarayan, an Indian yogi and a spiritual soul. Swaminarayan Akshardham is not only a temple but Swaminarayan Akshardham Complex is a spiritual cultural Campus where various activities and exhibitions related to Hindu religion is organized.

10. Sis ganj Gurudwara

Sis Ganj Gurudwara or sheesh Ganj Gurudwara is located at the heart of Delhi’s most popular marketplace Chandni Chowk. It was constructed by Baghel Singh to Commemorate the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur who was beheaded by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb for not following his order to convert into Islam. The Sis Ganj Gurudwara is built in Mughal Architectural site with sandstone unlike white marbles like other Gurudwara. It is known to be served as both Gurudwara and Mosque alternatively due to the changing political scenario and finally after long time it later turn into Gurudwara.

The Gurudwara complex has a separate Langar hall and accommodation for visitors. There is also a well from which Guru used to drink when he was in prison & trunk of the tree under which he was executed. The devotes come here from far places to pay respect to brave Guru.
